The legend of Maskunda was born in West Africa several thousand years ago in the mysterious “City of Masks”. This region, which would have seen the first men walk, was at that time covered with a fabulously green vegetation, a real Garden of Eden… Among the members of this mythical society, only a small group of individuals with exceptional qualities were worthy of wearing this mask called “Hákíl”. This mask gave them supernatural powers that would even be at the origin of humanity as we know it.

Recent revelations about the myth of the masks indicate that Maskunda (the City of Masks) was the epicenter of the Cradle of Mankind. The legend tells that the masks will resurface at a moment when humanity will need them the most.
The masks would be the legacy of a lost city, for future generations, to save humanity.
